Advertising Disclosure & Standards
We publish the standards we hold ourselves to, the categories we refuse, and how anyone can report a concern about an advertisement we manage.
1. What this page is
Rayfield Advertising Group is a service business. This website sells our own services; it does not host third-party advertising, affiliate links, sponsored content or paid placements. Nothing on this site earns us a commission.
2. How we describe results
Figures shown in case studies come from client-approved reporting periods and are presented in the same form the client received them. Where a client is anonymised, the numbers are unchanged. Past results describe specific engagements and are not a guarantee of comparable outcomes for anyone else.
3. Claim substantiation for client campaigns
- Every factual claim in an advertisement must be traceable to documentation the client provides before the ad goes live.
- Superlatives such as “best” or “number one” require third-party evidence or they are removed.
- Pricing and offer terms in ads must match the landing page exactly, including expiry dates.
- Testimonials must be real, attributable and used with written permission; we do not write reviews on a client’s behalf.
- Healthcare and financial claims are reviewed against the applicable rules before publication, and by the client’s own counsel where required.
4. Categories we do not accept
We decline engagements in gambling and betting, adult content, cryptocurrency trading or investment schemes, payday lending, tobacco and vaping, weapons, supplements making unverified health claims, essay-writing and academic fraud services, and any business model prohibited by the major advertising platforms’ policies.
5. Platform policy compliance
Campaigns we manage are built to comply with the published advertising policies of the platforms we buy on, including editorial and destination-experience requirements: a working, relevant landing page; clear contact information; transparent pricing; functioning forms; and no misleading redirects, doorway pages or cloaking.
6. Reporting a concern
If you have seen an advertisement you believe we manage and you consider it misleading, email legal@rayadvertising.a2hosted.com with a screenshot and the URL. George Thompson reviews every report personally and responds within three business days. Where a complaint is upheld, the ad is paused the same day.
